Hollywood actor John Travolta recently hosted Australia’s ‘Today’ at his house.
We’ve seen many celebrity mansions, but you can rest assured that his
is no ordinary house. While we common men struggle to have a driveway
into our houses, Travolta has not one, but two airplane runways.
The ‘Face off’ actor is a certified private pilot who owns five
aircraft. ”We designed the house for the jets and to have at our access
the world at a moment’s notice, and we succeeded at that,” he told
Today.
“For the last 11 years, we’ve been able to globe-trot for Qantas and
movies … I’ve been really able to operate out of this house for business
and personal reasons.” he added.
Since 2002, Travolta has been a Qantas ambassador and keeps his personal Qantas Boeing 707 in the yard of his Florida home.
He also has a Challenger jet parked right outside.
