It’s hard to imagine that just a few years ago, Uhuru, Raila and Ruto were on the same side of the political divide.
During the 2005 referendum, they were all in Orange together with the
likes of Kalonzo, Balala, Ngilu and others. They eventually carried the
day, and it was thought that one of them would be the next president of
Kenya. Many believed they would stick together until 2007, but we all
know how it went.
Anyway, this is one rare photo showing first lady Margaret and Ida
Odinga together. It’s also clear that Uhuru has put on quite some
weight. The presidency must be treating him well.
