An insecure man tortured his girlfriend because of a bad dream. According to reports by the Miami Herald, Carlos Gascon, 27, dreamed that his girlfriend was cheating on him.
When Gascon woke up, he began beating the woman for hours. He started by hitting and choking his girlfriend. He soon picked up a knife and started cutting the back of her legs. He held the knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.
Gascon then poured hot coffee on the woman and picked her up and slammed her on a glass table. The table shattered on impact.
Gascon also stomped the neck of his girlfriend’s dog and nearly choked the animal to death. His girlfriend couldn’t find her keys and was trapped in the home until Gascon went to sleep.
His girlfriend ran from the home and notified authorities. Gascon was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and animal cruelty.
